Our New Driveway!!

Randy has been working so hard on this garage, and the time is just flying by! This weekend with the help of our wonderful family (many thanks Jer and Sam), he was able to get the driveway done! This means we can park in the garage! I know, most of you probably think it's not a big deal, well it is to us! Before we moved to this house we had the luxury of a garage, and it's been almost 6 years. No more bringing in groceries in the rain/sleet/snow!! YEAH!!

In other news, Eryn has signed up for CCD and for dance classes. Great for her, but that means two nights a week of me running her to Calmar! I better get used to it.... I hear it only gets busier as the kids get older!!

Doggie Dress Up

Eryn dressed up just like her dog... in the dres she wore almost one year to the day for Chris and Lacy's wedding... she has really gotten taller in the past year!

The kids got creative today with their play, as they usually do... today it involved getting the dogs dressed up... Eryn is sharing her love for dogs and getting her brother to play along with her!

First Grade is....

GRRRREAT!! Eryn had a wonderful day of first grade, and was SO excited to tell me all about it! She was up and at 'em early this morning and ready to go 30 minutes before she needed to be!!! Nolan and I sent her off on the bus....no tears shed this year (for Eryn or mom)! It's great to see just how much she has grown in the past year... from being SO shy last year... that is something Nolan will not have a problem with when he goes to school next year!!

School Dayz...

It's that time again... school starts tomorrow. The kids are BOTH in bed (although not sleeping). It's tough to get back in a routine, especially at bedtime! Eryn took her things to school last evening and got a chance to meet her teacher and get settled in. She is SO excited to get a locker this year (allbeit a tiny locker). She even wants to name the locker Molly... (no idea where that is coming from!) We are so glad that she is excited for the school year to begin. She even has her clothes laid out (for the rest of the week!) Hmmm..... she may be more and more like me every day! Stay tuned to see how the first day goes!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

On Sunday we celebrated Grandpa's birthday with a party at his home. The weather was wonderful and everyone had a great time!

Garage Update

Despite the hot weather, the work on the garage continues. This weekend was putting up more plywood and getting the dormer framed in. It's looking great!

While Randy is working hard inside, the kids and I have been doing some work inside to prepare for the new addition! Both kids now are in their own rooms, and we are making additional space in Nolan's room for the baby. 12 weeks and counting!!

In other news, only a week and a half before Eryn starts 1st Grade! Hard to believe, but it will be here; not sure where the summer has gone!!!

Road Trip

Yesterday the kids and I packed it up and headed south to Williamsburg for some heavy duty school shopping. My mom went along with us, as dad stayed home to tend to chores and Randy was putting up rafters on the garage (more update on that later).

We met up with my sister and her family and the kids were off to the waterpark with uncle Jeremy. Us girls shopped away for most of the day and got some great deals!!

In the evening it was off to my cousin Mike and his wife Beth's house for their wedding reception. What a beautiful home! It was great to visit with family and see everyone again! Congrats Mike and Beth:) times two!!


We headed back to the hotel and the kids STILL were not tired, so they swam some more. We were up and at 'em early this morning for a little more shopping before heading home. It was great to get home! Now if I could just get the kids to take a nap.......
